This is one of the pigs that are raised by one of the beneficiaries who has the ambition of becoming one of the best farmer in this region. Mr Potien his journey started 2013 where he got the fund from one of goverment Vup sponsoship pillar he benefited from this program where he saved some money and give himself a target of 1 year so that he can buy a pig that will enable him to start farming. after a year of saving he bought one pig to start he raised it and now buy the time we visited him we found that there were a change as he now have 8 pig. he dream is to make profitable in this sector where he can earn money. Mr Potient he still need knowledge especialy in management skills, how to take care the pigs and to be more productive

This is one of the Component of vup program call Public work. This component provides short-term employment opportunities to poor households through public work one of the activities the beneficiary do  in this component are: road construction, irrigation schemes, and community infrastructure projects. when you are selected to be in this component you get paid a small wage for their labor, which helps to lift them out of poverty while contributing to the development of the country’s infrastructure

This is during our field visite where we went to see the beneficiaries which are in this category to have small meeting with them especialy  on things like challenge there are facing ,some of the input they might have and also the progress.
